This photo happnede kinda by accident, but it's one of my favorites that I've ever done.

It was shot at Indiana Dunes State Park, on an overcast day, and i was shootin trees n stuff, when I slipped down a lil, and fell down, and noticed a leftover baby's shoe. Naturally, from the lowered angle, with the hazy lighting, it just looked so sad and depressing, yet beautiful. That's why I love this shot so much. It just seems like there's a lot of feelings and emotion conveyed by the shot itself.

How sad... I really love the composition and the way the shoe is kind of off to the side.

awww.... yeah, cute and kinda depressing... i like the compostion tho, very nice.

I like the shot too...it does convey a sad and abandoned feeling. The black and white, along with the heavy grain, adds nicely to the mood. The only thing I would have done differently I think is moved the twig that's lying in front of the shoe to tighten up the composition a bit...but that's just an opinion. Also the cropping is a little off at the edges, some white is still visible in front of the black line that beings the frame. But very nice shot overall.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna fix the edges, but with my shots, I like shooting things as they are. That's why the twig is there, its just how i found it.
